One of the newest and greatest shows, & Juliet, is coming to Kennedy Center Opera House, Washington this December on Sunday 29th December 2024. Taking inspirational material from a very powerful and a well-known source, the Kennedy Center Opera House is ready for the demand of having to stage, an adaption of, the Shakespeare's well-known fictional tragedy. Furnished with topnotch modern hardware that can definitely provide a phenomenal live show, theater goers can be guaranteed, not only to an enjoyable viewing but also to a flawless presentation of this jukebox musical.
Shakespeare’s original play is historically famous as being one of the most tragic stories of all time. With the central characters' intense love for each other, ending with their deaths by their own hands. Skip forward an odd four hundred years, to see Shakespeare and his wife, Anne Hathaway, turn the original story on its head. As tools, in the West End's fresh new musical play, & Juliet, the Shakespears compile a new twist. Juliet is allowed to live through the ending of the death of her true love, and empowering her, finally, to make her own decisions. Given the chance to begin again with Juliet's equally determined companions, the characters are launched into a new landscape beyond their wildest dreams, when they move to Paris.
Given that 400 years have passed since Romeo and Juliet, '& Juliet' also applies a modernized implementation that appeals to a younger audience. To present its narrative to the younger theater goers, ‘& Juliet’ uses a set of songs borrowed from pop music’s best producer, Max Martin. This has resulted in the jukebox musical, produced and premiered in 2019. Max Martin was very liberal in the manipulation of his songs to the production, stating that he “wished for '& Juliet' to have its own unique identity, and to let theater goers feel that even if his songs are performed differently, fans would completely follow everything.” The ongoing musical is headlined with songs from global artists including Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Adam Lambert, and NSYNC, among others. As a result, the musical sets the stage for welcoming a different and younger generation to Broadway.
Jumping off its unsurpassed runs from its various global appearances, seats to ‘& Juliet’ are presently on hand and can be purchased by accessing the links that are provided above this page.
