Kennedy Center Opera House Parking
2700 F Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20004
The Kennedy Center offers an onsite parking garage on a first-come, first-serve basis. The parking garage tends to fill up quickly on event nights, so prepare to arrive early, pre-purchase online tickets, or park elsewhere. The parking rates for the garage are as follows:
» Standard: $25
» Early bird (Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.): $16
» Pre-paid: $22
You can pay for parking in person using all major credit cards. You may also purchase parking passes online by visiting the Kennedy Center accounts page. After purchasing your pass, you must display the ticket to enter the garage.
The parking garage also offers one-hour free parking for visitors to the Gift Shops or Box Office. To validate your parking ticket, you must spend at least $10 at the Gift Shops or purchase a ticket at the Box Office.
The maximum clearance on levels A, B, and C of the parking garage is seven feet, so if you have an oversized vehicle, you should prepare accordingly. Each level of the parking garage has two Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations located on the south side of the garage.
If you’re interested in offsite parking, the Kennedy Center recommends the Watergate garage and Columbia Plaza at 2400 Virginia Avenue. However, parking at each of these places may be limited.
